John Belamiza was born on May 22, 1972. He relocated from Portland, Oregon to Panama City, FL two years ago. He passed away Saturday March 31, 2012 at the age of 39. He was very much loved by all who knew him. His greatest pride was his son Giovanni. John had a heart of gold and treasured his friendships. He gave the best bear hugs. Due to his large stature, he was often called "Big John". He was a student at Gulf Coast State College and in his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, traveling, metal art, and hanging out with his friends. John is survived by his son, Giovanni Alexander Belamiza, of St. Augustine, Florida; his father, Alexander J. Belamiza of Kirksville, Missouri; and his mother, Mary Elizabeth Belamiza of Panama City. He will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family; as well as his many friends. Please help us keep his memory alive by contributing to his memorial website.
